Terms

Last updated: April 24, 2026

1. Acceptance

By using AcademiWrite ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, don't use the Service.

2. What we provide

An AI-powered essay drafting tool. We generate structured essays with suggested citations. All generated content is a draft, not a finished academic work.

3. Academic integrity

You are solely responsible for how you use our outputs. Submitting AI-generated content as your own original work may violate your institution's academic integrity policy. We mark every essay as AI-generated and recommend you:

  • Use outputs as a starting point, not a final submission.
  • Verify every suggested citation in the original source before using it.
  • Rewrite substantially in your own voice.
  • Disclose AI assistance when your institution requires it.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

  • Produce content that violates laws, defames others, or promotes hate, violence, or discrimination.
  • Abuse or overload our infrastructure, bypass rate limits, or share accounts.
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell our outputs as a competing service.

5. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your password secure. Notify us immediately if your account is compromised. One person per account.

6. Billing

Pro subscriptions renew monthly via Stripe. You can cancel any time from your dashboard; access continues until the end of the paid period. No refunds for partial months, except where required by law.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is". AI outputs may contain errors, fabricated references, or inaccuracies. We make no warranty of accuracy, fitness for academic credit, or legal/medical/financial advisability.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the dashboard and by email.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Futuria is registered. Disputes go first through good-faith negotiation.
